OK, a year later (almost) with about 1,200 kilometers on the clock, time for an update.
I had to change out the original seat, it was too hard on the butt after an hour or so. I put on a LePera sprung solo and it looks great and feels much better than the factory solo seat.
The bike runs great, no problems whatsoever. I removed the tank decals and it aged the bike at least 50 years.
I get tons of folks asking me about her wondering if I restored it myself. They are shocked when I tell them it's a 2011 model with EFI.
It's not the fastest thing out on the road, but it's great for in town and around the lake. She feels best cruising at around 80-90 klms/hr. (50-55 mph).
The engine is smooth at this speed with still enough top end to pull out and pass if need be. On gravel roads, even with the stock street tires, she handled surprisingly well, even on very loose gravel, she barely wiggles about.
Maintenance is quick and simple, as I do all my own. Oil changes, lube and adjust drive chain are all easy to do.
Overall, I am pleased with this bike. It's not a hiway tourer by any means but a fun commuter and runs all day on a tank full of gas.
Upgrades/Accessories: LePera seat, black engine guard, tank decals removed, different handlebar (grips for comfort). Contemplating a quick release windshield, don't know yet.
